Commercial Pilot License - Helicopter (Step by Step)

With the Commercial Pilot License for helicopter, you’ll be able to carry out aerial work, public passenger transport, training flights and rescue operations as a professional pilot.

The modular course (step by step) permits you to get the professional license approaching from the private license. Every step can be planned in different periods, in the way to build your own course.

Commercial Pilot License - Helicopter (Direct Entry)

With the Commercial Pilot License for helicopter, you’ll be able to carry out aerial work, public passenger transport, training flights and rescue operations as a professional pilot.

The integrated course permits the student to enter directly in the professional world of helicopters, without any aviation pre-requisite. You must close the course in a period fixed by law (24 or 36 months), for this reason you have to concentrate full-time in this deal.

Single Engine Helicopters Type Ratings

Ratings per type allow you to fly helicopters that are different from the one used for the PPL or CPL at school.

The theoretical course is organized by Italfly Academy depending on the requests for a minimum of 4 students. It lasts 16/20 hours, depending on the type of helicopter and ends with an internal exam.
This course includes a minimum of 5 flight hours with instructor and the final exam will be 1 hour check with an internal TRE, as required in European regulation.

Multi Engine Helicopters Type Ratings

These ratings allow you to fly with multi-engine turbine helicopters. The course must be repeated also for those who need to renewal type rating which has expired by more than 3 years.

This course can be attended by private and commercial pilots who have at least 70 flight hours as pilot in command or student pilot who is attending the full ATP course.

Instrumental Rating Course - Helicopter

With this course you will be able to fly according to the regulations of instrumental flight on certified helicopters.

This rating can gained by a private pilot who holds night rating with at least 50 hours of cross-country or a pilot who is training for a CPL modular course, an integrated ATP course or a pilot who already holds a CPL license.

Multi Crew Coordination (H)

The MCC course is intended for those who wish to operate on multi-crew helicopters. The commander must have an ATPL license, whereas the co-pilot must hold a CPL license, must have passed the ATPL theory exam and must have attended and passed an MCC course.

The MCC certificate can be obtained by professional pilots who already hold a CPL license or by the pilots who are attending an integrated ATP course.

Flight Instructor Courses - Helicopter

The flight instructor course will lead you to a qualification which entitles to train students for the PPL and for type rating on aircraft single engine.

The flight instructor can train CPL student pilots after having flown 200 training hours and can also instruct trainee instructors after they have flown 500 training hours.

English for Aviation

In our Academy you may attend the course to obtain the English for Aviation certification, for the certification or the renewal of your ICAO english level.
Italfly is authorized to issue all the certification levels, till the 6th.
EVALUATION LEVELS
Level 4 has 4 years of validity
Level 5 has 6 years of validity
Level 6 never expires
