AW 109
The AgustaWestland AW109 is a twin-engine helicopter built today for the Italian market by Leonardo-Finmeccanica, AgustaWestland previously.
The model was originally to be called "Hirundo", the Latin name of the swallow, but the name has never really stated and it is usually called only A109.
It is used for heli-taxi service but it is also well known for his key role as aircraft for helicopter rescue, search and rescue, is in fact used today by the Core Helicopters of the Province of Trento.
